Gancini Symbol
Our favourite piece will definitely be SF2831A which features the Gancini symbol on the side temples of the frame. The Gancini has been part of the Salvatore Ferragamo brand since the 70's and it is refreshing to see this iconic symbol so elegantly and functionally integrated into an optical frame.
While it is a subtle use of the Gancini, those who are in the know will definitely notice it. A good choice if you're seeking a unique design that is sophisticated and understated at the same time.
Signature Prints
Other than the Gancini symbol, the use of signature prints is one of the hallmarks of the Salvatore Ferragamo brand.
Available in four colourways, this pillow-shape frame (
SF2833A) may seem conventional from the front, but turn your head around and you'll notice intricate detailing on the side. We absolutely love the bold use of vibrant floral prints, which gives off quaint, summery vibes.
Similarly in SF2856A, we see the use of unique prints on the side temple of the frame, coupled with the iconic 'Ferragamo' symbol in metal. The unique contours of the side temple will also add interest and some depth to your side view.
Another of our favourites - SF2875 is a work of art. While it is full black with a gold-tone Ferragamo logo, you can find beautiful and understated angles from the front of the frame all to way to side temples. Under closer inspection, one starts to appreciate the subtle imprints of the Gancini on the side temples.
