Frames: GUCCI  GG1124OA  & Ray‑Ban RB6518

These were our first Ultimate Z orders since Nikon’s recent Z‑series debut. Nikon’s flagship progressive doesn’t just use your prescription—it even factors in your individual contrast sensitivity via Z‑Contrast Technology, minimising visual “noise” at all distances. 

Paired with the ultra‑responsive Transitions Gen S, the lenses turn into a versatile dark grey in seconds and fade back to clear in under two minutes when back indoors.

2. For those always on the move

Lenses: Essilor Varilux XR Track Progressive Lenses + Transitions Gen S (Graphite Green)
Frame: Sleek silver brow‑line frame

Varilux’s XR engine uses behavioural A.I. to predict where your eyes will look next, delivering instant, stable focus even while you’re in motion. Add the same fast‑fading Transitions Gen S in Graphite Green and you get an all‑day, indoor‑to‑outdoor performer with a subtle grey‑green vibe—perfect for commuters who hate switching glasses. 

3. Two‑Pair Power User

Lenses & Uses:

• Shamir Autograph Intelligence Progressive Lenses + Transitions Gen S – for all‑day, everywhere vision

• Shamir WorkSpace Blue Zero Metaform – for screen‑heavy office work (clear up to 3 m)

Our next job was done for a new client who needed new glasses urgently as he was flying off the following day. Both pairs rode through Shamir’s InoTime express line, which can be ready in as fast as four hours or 1 day* (only for weekdays/non-public holidays, subject to availability). 

Shamir's Autograph Intelligence is patterned on big‑data insights that link visual age to real‑world tasks, giving each wearer a uniquely balanced corridor.

The second pair of lenses was Shamir WorkSpace (Blue Zero Metaform) is a pair of office lenses, designed for use for near work up to about 3 m—great for hopping between your  monitor screen, meeting and whiteboard.

Both pairs were fitted on Line Art Charmant's titanium frames, keeping everything feather‑light, sleek and professional.

4. Digital‑Day Freedom

Lenses: ZEISS SmartLife PRO Digital Individual 3
Frame: Line Art Charmant XL11104 (Made in Japan titanium)

SmartLife PRO applies ZEISS SmartView 2.0 science—now considering both horizontal and vertical eye‑rotation centres—to widen the clear zone for today’s device‑centric viewing. In their single‑vision “Digital” design, the lenses relieve near‑work fatigue for students and young professionals who scroll long after sunset, and the minimalist Japanese frame is versatile and comfortable for daily use.

5. Everyday Sun‑Ready

Lenses: Essilor Xperio Tinted Sun Lens (Light Grey)

Prefer a classic tint over photochromics? Xperio’s uniform grey reduces glare without distorting indoor colour perception, while blocking harmful UV. A simple, stylish way to shield your eyes at cafés, in the car, and everywhere between.

6. Built‑for‑Work Protection

Frame: WORKSafe safety spectacle (with integrated side shields)
Lenses: Essilor Crizal Airwear Polycarbonate (1.59 index)

This WORKSafe frame design adds lateral shields for true wrap‑around safety. We fitted them with impact‑resistant polycarbonate prescription lenses. Perfect for engineers, craftsmen, weekend DIY warriors & more!

7. Smart‑Glasses Upgrade

Frame: Customer’s own Ray‑Ban Meta
Lenses: ZEISS ClearView + PhotoFusion X

We fitted a customer's own Ray-Ban Meta frame with prescription lenses (ZEISS ClearView lenses).

Freeform technology – once reserved for bespoke lenses – is incorporated into the ClearView design in a complex mould-generating process. ZEISS optimises over 700 points of the lens surface. 

With PhotoFusion X, this pair of glasses are clear indoors, and turn dark outdoors under UV - convenient for those are frequently shuttling between indoors and outdoors.

8. Night‑Drive Confidence

Lenses: ZEISS DriveSafe Single Vision
Frame: MURAZOKI with flip‑up clip

ZEISS DriveSafe’s specialised coating cuts perceived headlight glare and brightens low‑contrast scenes—ideal for rainy evenings or dim car parks. 

Paired with a MURAZOKI frame that comes with a convenient tinted flip-up clip—perfect for daytime use when the sun is strong, and easy to lift when entering tunnels, carparks, or driving in shaded areas.
