Eyezen Lenses - Digital Lenses Designed for the Digital Age

In today’s world, near work is unavoidable. Whether it’s checking your phone, working on a laptop or reading for long periods, your eyes are constantly shifting focus between screens and printed material. This can lead to visual fatigue, eye strain and discomfort — especially for those aged 12 to 40+, who often spend the majority of their day on digital devices.
Eyezen lenses are designed to address exactly this challenge. Eyezen lenses are optimised single vision lenses that relax your eyes so you can keep up in a connected world1.
Personalised Comfort and Protection
Eyezen isn’t just about comfort — it’s also about protection. The lenses are also available with Crizal Prevencia option - an advanced blue-violet light filtering technology to help reduce glare and visual stress from digital screens and other light sources.
You can further enhance your Eyezen lenses with:
-
Transitions Gen S light-adaptive lenses for seamless indoor–outdoor vision, available in 8 exciting colours!
-
Transitions XTRActive lenses, which activate even inside the car for extra protection in bright conditions. Also available with Polarised lens option.
-
Crizal Drive coating, optimised to reduce reflections and glare for safer, clearer night driving.
-
Crizal Prevencia coating, designed to filter harmful blue-violet light2 while maintaining optimal lens clarity.
Why Choose Eyezen
By reducing visual fatigue1, improving clarity for near tasks, and offering protection from blue-violet light, Eyezen lenses make everyday vision more comfortable — no matter how many hours you spend on screens.
Eyezen Start or Eyezen Boost?
1. Essilor Eyezen Start
If you’re constantly shifting between near and far tasks, Eyezen Start lenses by Essilor are designed to help you see clearly at both distances without the added strain.
Although these lenses do not offer a boost, they utilise Eyezen's DualOptim technology, taking into account two reference points of distance and near vision. The lenses are optimised according to object distance and gaze direction, to ensure the right correction and to reduce lens aberration & distortion.
Unlike Eyezen Boost, Eyezen Start has no boost power at the lower part of the lens.
2. Essilor Eyezen Boost
For those who experience greater eye fatigue or need a little extra help with near vision, Eyezen Boost lenses may be the perfect fit. These lenses include a vision boost (+0.40D to +1.1D) that supports accommodation and helps with small text and digital screen usage.
If you're seeking a greater relief from eye strain, Eyezen Boost may offer more comfort compared to Eyezen Start.
FAQs — About Digital Lenses
Q: Are Eyezen lenses the same as regular single vision lenses?
A: No. Eyezen lenses are enhanced single vision lenses with optimised zones to reduce visual fatigue from prolonged near work1.
Q: Who should consider Eyezen lenses?
A: They are ideal for anyone aged 12 to 40+ who spends long hours on digital devices or reading.
Q: Will Eyezen lenses help with blue light?
A: You can select the Crizal Prevencia option for blue-violet light filtering technology2.
Q: Can Eyezen lenses be combined with Transitions or Crizal Drive?
A: Absolutely. Eyezen lenses can be customised with a variety of coatings and treatments to suit your lifestyle.
Q: Are Digital Lenses only for people who use digital devices?
A: While they are ideal for screen users, digital lenses also help with reading, studying, and any task that requires prolonged near focus.
Q: Can I Wear Digital Lenses Even if I Have Perfect Vision?
A: Absolutely! Even if you don’t have myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism, you can still benefit from digital lenses. If you don’t require vision correction, the distance zone of the lens will be plano (no prescription), while the near zone will be optimised for near work, such as reading or using digital devices. This makes digital lenses a great choice for anyone who spends long hours on screens, even if they have perfect vision.
